History

Kira keeps most of her past close to the chest, often joking that her life didn’t truly begin until the day she arrived in Eorzea, having smuggled herself to Limsa Lominsa on a passing ship. What little she does share is simple enough. She was raised within the halls of the Arcanists’ guild, studying, training, and slowly growing into her power until she was finally old enough to set out on her own. Like many adventurers before her, Kira spent a decent amount of time wandering the realm, taking contracts, exploring unfamiliar lands, and carving out a name for herself. She took special interest in anything of Alllagan design, often volunteering to spearhead any expeditions into the ruins and facilities of the Allagan Empire.Eventually her travels led her somewhere unexpected. One night she stumbled into the venue scene for the first time, pulled there by some travelling companions. The music, the dancing, the energy of the crowd, she found it utterly intoxicating. Something in her shifted that night, awakening a longing she hadn’t fully understood before. After so long on the road, mostly alone, the idea of true connection, of having a home was too much to ignore.Not long after, Kira became a courtesan at the venue formerly known as Kolat Veridian, which is now named Catsune Cabaret. It was there that she learned the rhythm of the venue world.. How to read a room, how to create atmosphere, how to turn fleeting moments into meaningful experiences. It was also there that she met someone that would change her life forever. Her pet, Gracelyn appeared the very first night she worked, and they’ve been inseparable ever since.As time passed Kira found herself growing beyond the courtesan role. She stepped into leadership, eventually accepting a position as the courtesan manager at Ara Ara. It was there that fate introduced her to someone who would shape the rest of her life.; Kaelith arrived for a court session, dragged along by a friend. What began as a simple night of pleasure quickly became something far deeper. The connection between them was immediate and undeniable. Before long the two realised they had found something rare. A bond that felt destined from the start, the kind that up until then Kira thought only existed in fairy tales.During this period Kira founded the Free Company, Phoenix Ascending. She gathered a small but fiercely loyal community of friends and allies and even managed to secure a FC house for them, giving everyone a home, many who hadn’t had one before. Months later Kira and Kaelith bonded, taking the name Sunsinger together.Eventually Kira left Ara Ara and returned her focus to Catsune Cabaret, helping guide the venue through its rebirth after separating from the Kolat brand. Her natural leadership and experience rapidly pushed her into the role of General Manager, a position where she thrived. Around that same time, a friend approached her with a bold idea; opening a venue of their own. Kira didn’t hesitate. She accepted the opportunity and stepped forward as the co-owner of Saffron, which is now known as Everbloom, pouring her heart and soul into helping shape the venue into the refined and welcoming space it has become.Several months later fate decided to intervene again, and Kira left Catsune Cabaret while taking sole ownership of Saffron, rebranding it Everbloom alongside her wife and friends.Today Kira balances many roles. Owner, Manager, Adventurer, Partner, and Leader. Even with the responsibilities of running a venue along with her wife Kaelith, she refuses to let her edge dull. Kira often disappears into the wilds alone, taking on dangerous tasks or offering aid where it’s needed.If you happen to cross paths with Kira, chances are it will be in one of two places. Either beneath the warm lights of a busy venue, or somewhere far from civilization, chasing the next adventure, and perhaps the next friend she has yet to met.
